New Colorado. I dig the scheme but I would dispense with the black wheels. Huge void under the wheelwell and all that. Can it be time for the “Blackout Everything You Can,” trend to be over?

Anyway, here’s the truck. It may need to have some new door panels because nothing sticks to the rubberized vinyl on there now. Also the console lid needs to be addressed. The blue-gray clashes but we can’t pull the vinyl cover off without actually breaking it.

As with all CST installations, the wrinkles will fall out within a few weeks.

They flow well with the black lower cladding and side steps. And black contrasts well with red.

I’m not a fan of black wheels either, but they are better than the 22” gunmetal and chrome monstrosities that came on my new truck.

I see the opposite. The “Black Ram,” package is awful popular here in the Charlotte area. I see a lot of ridiculous chrome, but the all-black wheel thing just doesn’t do it for me. You lose the shape and design of the wheels when you go all black.
